Our Story

Our story begins like that of many other families, enjoying each other as generations celebrate the memories of each passing year.  But one day, after what was thought to be routine check-up and testing for his pre-existing conditions, Dad sat the family down and told us that his doctors found a tumour…they had found cancer.  This news was an unexpected shock and his health soon deteriorated.  As we returned to the world of caregiving, we realized that this was not the first time our family had received such sad news.  A few years prior, our maternal grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Caring for this beloved woman was our family’s first experience of providing for the daily personal needs of a dependent elder.  Although it was sad at times, it was a humbling experience and we learned to truly appreciate the importance of life.

We thought this story was unique to us, yet eventually, we came to realize that many other families faced this reality of caring for parents and grandparents during aging and illness, and even though the caring experience for both family members brought unique challenges and responsibilities, one thing was certain … they wished to be cared for at home.  We as caregivers were grateful and proud of the moments we shared with them at home.

As Ontario`s communities grow older, caring responsibilities for elders will dramatically increase, as well as their express need to be cared for at home.  That`s why, we as a family are making the commitment to other families to pass on the knowledge, compassion and care insights we have gained to make caregiving less burdensome.  We do it because we have been where you are, we know how you feel and we realize caring for your loved one need not occur in isolation.  We`re here to provide dependable care you can TRUST.

Honest

  • Analia’s Home Care Employees will be honest with all clients and they can rest assured that all information obtained throughout the course of service is strictly confidential and will not be shared with others outside of Analia’s Home Care.
  • Analia’s Home Care will never take advantage of clients in any way.
  • Analia’s Home Care staff will always strive to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in each client Care Plan.
  • Our staff will document what was done each day at the end of every shift.
  • Our Staff will never solicit Analia’s Home Care clients for private care.

Simple

  • Analia’s Home Care Staff will follow each Care Plan and make sure that each client gets the same first-rate level of care, each and every visit.
  • Analia’s Home Care Staff will always accurately record the “Start Time” and “End Time”.
  • Each employee makes it a priority to be on time to every shift and understands that excessive tardiness is unacceptable to Analia’s Home Care’s standards.
  • Analia’s Home Care Staff makes every effort to maintain consistency with our placement of Caregivers in your home.

The A-Team

Client Services

The Client Services Manager is most likely the first person you will talk with when you call the office.  They answer the phone, takes care of billing and Accounts, leads our Complimentary Concierge Program for Clients and makes sure the office runs smoothly just to name a few of the many tasks she’s responsible for. If you have any questions, the Client Services Manager will probably answer them or tell you who to talk to.  You can reach our Client Services Manager at f you have any questions or problems you can talk to your Case Manager by contacting out administrative offices at 1(877)262-5422

Personal Support Workers

Analia’s Home Care comes to you by way of our Caregivers and Certified Specialists. Your Case Manager will match a Caregiver to work with you and will conduct visits from time to time to ensure your care is exactly what you need, when you need it.

Personal Support Workers will assist you in your daily living activities.  They will focus on getting to know you – what you like, what things you are good at, and how you would like things done in your home.  They will plan and execute household chores and fun activities to do together. If there is anything you feel you cannot do alone, your companion aide will help you.

If you are not feeling well, your Personal Support Worker can take you to the doctor. They can also help you keep in touch with your family and friends.

Further, you can rest assured that our personal support workers are trained and experienced in accordance with the training and guidelines for Personal Support Worker education standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

Registered Practical Nurses / Registered Nurses

For optimal health, our Registered Nurses and Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses help prevent illness and increase comfort at home. These nurses have years of experience and are trained to provide care in a home or community setting. Our RPN or RNs help with assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning for care, intervention and evaluation.

Education & Training

  • All Caregivers of Analia’s Home Care is required to complete the required caregiver training program as established by the Ministry of Training Colleges and University or equivalent before their first assignment.

  • All Caregivers are required to be First Aid Certified and CPR trained and keep it from expiring going forward.

  • All employees agree to seek out education that enhance their skills and help them grow in their career development.
